Degree studied: MA Catholic School Leadership

St Mary’s University is a hidden treasure of London and UK Education. There is simplicity in the greatness of this university. One of its gems is the green, elegant, and majestic campus. It houses a proper castle surrounded with a lush garden and not to mention, it is just right next to the glorious river Thames. The campus is filled with amazing history, but literally on the other side of the campus, it also has the modern world class sports facility that has been the training centre for many Olympians.

St Mary’s is not just form, it also has substance. Another gem it hides is the quality of education it offers. I have chosen to study at St Mary’s because of its professors. I tried looking for universities in other parts of the world that specialises in Catholic educational leadership, and the universities I found in USA and Australia are connected to St Mary’s through its professors. They are known and respected in the field of education and theology around the world. Learning from them is everything I expected and more. Students are not just “numbers” here. Staff and faculty know you by name and would never fail to greet you around campus and are willing to assist you in your needs.

I can go on and list down more things I like about St Mary’s, but it will not give justice to what it has done, is doing and will do for me. It has taught me important lesson about Catholic school leadership, but it is also preparing me to do great things for others and for the common good.
