Tuition fees for international students

Like all UK universities, St Mary's has two different types of 'fee status'; one for Home/EU students and another for International (overseas) students. The fee for overseas students is higher because the UK government does not give universities subsidies to help meet the cost of their tuition. Your fee status will be assessed by the Admissions Office when you submit your application.

At St Mary's we recognise that studying overseas is a large financial commitment and we aim to keep costs affordable for all our students; you will find that our fees are very competitive compared to other UK universities. We also offer a number of international scholarships for both undergraduate and postgraduate taught degree students.

If you are applying for a visa you will need to show that you can pay your fees and living costs. Please check our visa information for a list of which documents you will need to show.

You can pay your fees online using our secure payment system. Fees can be paid in USD. The University retains the right to adjust the USD fees according to exchange rate changes.
