In December we advised of the temporary closure of the Dolce Vita Café to allow for construction works to provide a Café/Bar area as part of the wider student heart refurbishment project.
The new Café/Bar will provide a new bottle bar, cocktail section and Café area. There has been some delay on flooring due to supply issues but we are providing a temporary fix so we can open on time.
The final finishing touches are being made to the three new teaching rooms in J block and Ground Floor corridor.
The Dolce Vita, teaching rooms and the J block Ground Floor corridor to Student Services and Registry will be open from 07 February 2022.
The wider student heart project, focusing on the Library through to the Hall and the surrounding external areas is progressing well and due for completion by Friday 01 April 2022.
