Locked out of your room or lost your room key?
Students in halls can collect a Temporary Loan Key from the Security Lodge by Main Reception 24 hours a day 7 days a week. If the loan key is returned within 2 weeks no replacement key charges will be incurred. Please also visit the Security Lodge if you lose your ID Card or if it is malfunctioning.
Please note that replacement keys in Student Halls for unreturned Temporary Loan Keys or Keys Not Returned at the end of License will be re-charged to Student Deposit accounts at £25 per key. Should more than 3 keys be lost during one term an automatic Lock Change will take place at a cost of £75 in addition to any previous key replacement charges throughout the term.

Requests for permanent replacement accommodation keys can only be submitted by authorised staff. Requests will be processed by the Maintenance Helpdesk and requestors will be notified via the Maintenance SiteHelpdesk System when keys are ready for collection from the Security Lodge.
