Netball taster day - 25th March

Venue:: Sport St Mary’s, St Mary’s University, Twickenham

St Mary’s University is delighted to welcome women learners in their first and second year of sixth form or college to our Netball Taster Day on 25^th March. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet current students, staff and coaches who share their passion for netball and experience sports academic taster & information sessions in subjects such as sports psychology and nutrition. These sessions will give students an insight into the different sports programmes on offer at St Mary’s, as well as the different athletic opportunities available. To round off the day, attendees will have the chance to participate in a training session with the St Mary’s University Netball Team, which will emphasise the values of fair play, discipline, and sportswomanship!

This event is suitable for learners considering applying to university for September 2024 or 2025 entry. There are only 30 spaces available!

Timetable

1pm - arrive
1:15pm - welcome
2pm - campus tour
2:30pm - sports academic sessions
5pm - netball training session.

Students are welcome to register independently to attend this day.

If teachers or advisors wish to book a larger cohort, we recommend that learners register independently so that they receive relevant information prior to the event and to help with attendance marking on the day.
