Print library books
The St Mary's library stocks over 100,000 printed books and other printed resources to assist with your learning and research.
To search for books in the library please use Primo Library Search. This lists every book we have in stock and its physical location. If all copies of a book are already on loan you can use the links in Primo to reserve the book. Please note that the locations of books are clearly marked in Primo Library Search:
- Teaching theory books can be found on the ground floor, all other Education resources are on the first floor - including a substantial collection of children's books intended primarily for use by teacher training and Education students.
- Law books, reports and journals can now be found on the ground floor.

Print journals / periodicals
A number of academic journals and periodicals are held in printed format in the library. These are generally titles that are not available on online format and can be found on the ground floor towards the back of the library.
We generally recommend searching for and using library e-journals through Primo Library Search.
