Biography

Dr. Kee Hean Lim is an Associate Professor in Occupational Therapy at St Mary’s University and the Associate Head of School for Student Experience. He is also the current Director of Education for the World Federation of Occupational Therapists. He has vast clinical, research, teaching and consultancy experience and his research interests include Promoting cultural competency in practice; Occupation and mental health recovery; Growth-based careers and development; Equality, diversity and inclusion; Self-management and resilience; the Kawa model river; Student mental health and well-being within education.

He has presented his research both nationally and internationally and is a visiting lecturer at several universities within the United Kingdom and across Europe. He has published within the areas of Cultural competence; Mental health practice; Transcultural practice; Growth-based careers; the Kawa ‘River’ Model; Self-management; Occupations and mental health recovery.
