Anne Moran was the Pro-Vice Chancellor of Global Engagement at St Mary's University, Twickenham between 2014 and 2016.
Prior to joining St Mary's University Anne was Pro Vice-Chancellor for Educational Partnerships and International Affairs and Professor of Education at the University of Ulster from 2011-2014 where her responsibilities included: Widening Participation; Access and Distributed Learning including eLearning; Educational Partnerships; International Affairs; Student Support; and the Students’ Union. Prior to that she held positions of Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences (2002-2010) and Head of the School of Education (1999-2002).
She began her career as a teacher in 1985 in a post primary school in Belfast before joining the University to train prospective teachers.
In 2008 she was awarded an OBE for services to higher education.
