For undergraduate and postgraduate international students of the Faculty of Business and Law
The academic year for 2023/24 sees the launch of two free online one-week courses designed to help orientate, support, and prepare international students for UK academic study.
On these short 18-hour courses, you will have a chance to learn more about life at St Marys, familiarise yourself with some aspects of academic study, meet a variety of staff, ask questions, and get to know some of your peers before arriving on the campus.
The courses aim to:
- provide you with the basics of academic study
- provide a beginner’s tool kit and information on where to go for support
- help you begin your academic journey positively with every chance for success
- support you with making friends before you arrive.

We will also be available throughout the year for students if you require any additional academic help and we will be putting on further workshops and events.
