Leanne qualified as a Physiotherapist from Keele University in 2008. She then went to work as a research assistant conducting a trial on acute stroke population, whilst working clinically as a Physiotherapist in a university hospital.
The research conducted lead to her enrolment on a part-time PhD course at Keele University in 2009, which is looking into the effects of neuromuscular electrical stimulation on muscle structure and function. Since then she has been working as a physiotherapist in a clinical gait laboratory.
Leanne is a keen dancer, and has completed examinations and competitions in Ballet, tap and Modern. She is also a novice distance runner, and entered into her first marathon in 2012!
