Serving others

A faith that makes a difference

The Chaplaincy supports a wide range of Justice and Peace initiatives, and offers students and staff the opportunities to volunteer their time and talents to make a difference to the lives of others.

Homeless outreach

The Benedict XVI House Community and the Chaplaincy co-ordinate a bi-weekly homeless outreach project. A group of staff and students from St Mary's go to St. Patrick’s in Soho to help prepare and serve a hot meal to London’s homeless.  It is a wonderful opportunity for offer a worthwhile service as a community and to socialise with new people. If you have questions or want to take part please contact leonora.butau@stmarys.ac.uk.

Charity carol singing

Each Advent a group of students and staff sing together, have fun and raise a substantial amount of money for local and national children’s charities.
