Chaplaincy outreach to the community

Over the last few years, the Chaplaincy has collaborated with the Sisters of Mercy on various charitable outreach initiatives such as providing food for local food banks, and working with homeless charities and groups helping the homeless move into accommodation.

This University-wide engagement has assisted Spear (Richmond Homeless), Ruils (Richmond Users Independent Living scheme), and the Salvation Army, amongst others.

The success of these outreach and strategic projects depends entirely on student engagement and generosity in time both here in the Chaplaincy, and in the Students Union and the wider University community.

Your contribution as a student, member of staff or wider University community is therefore vital for the success of these projects.
