Admissions and visa requirements

To join the Liberal Arts Summer School you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Completion of at least one academic year at university level
  • A minimum GPA of 2.7 or equivalent
  • Participants must be at least 18 years of age

English language requirements

Students from non-English speaking countries must have an overall 6.0 IELTS score with no component of the assessment below 5.5. Please see our English language requirements for other assessment methods we accept.

Visa requirements

A Standard Visitor visa is required for students planning on studying at St Mary’s for less than 6 months without an internship. Most students can obtain this visa from a border agent when they enter the UK.
