Applications for the 2026 Liberal and Creative Arts London Summer School are now open.

Application deadlines

There are a number of key application deadlines to consider when applying:

  • Early Bird deadline: 10 April 2026
  • application deadline: 1 May 2026
  • full payment deadline: 15 May 2026.

Admissions requirements 

  • You must have completed at least one academic year at university level.
  • You must have a minimum GPA of 2.7 or equivalent.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age.

English language requirements

If you are from a non-English speaking country, you must have an overall 6.0 IELTS score with no component of the assessment below 5.5.

Fees and discounts

The fees are inclusive of:

  • tuition
  • an official St Mary’s transcript
  • single occupancy room on campuis
  • 10 meals a week
  • Heathrow pick up on arrival
  • orientation
  • social activities
  • specially curated field trips, led by discipline experts
  • on-site programme support.

Summer School costs

  • One module 20 SMU credits / 5 US credits: £5,225 (£5,575 with London Theatre module )
  • Two modules 40 SMU credits / 10 US credits: £6,775 (£7,150 with London Theatre module )
  • Top-up fee for Global London top-up module (allowing US students to follow a 25 SMU/ 6 US credit pathway) £240.

A £500 deposit is due within one week of being accepted to the programme.

Partner discount

If you study at one of our Study Abroad partners, you are eligible for a 10% discount off the advertised price. Please note, this discount does not apply to the top-up fee for the Global London booster module.

Early bird discount

Apply and pay your deposit by the early bird date above to get 5% off the advertised fee. Students studying at one of our partner universities may receive both discounts. (Discounts do not apply to the top-up fee for the Global London booster module).

  • Any cancellations notified in writing no later than Friday 1 May 2026: full refund of tuition fee.
  • Cancellations notified in writing on or after 2 May 2026 but before Friday 5 June 2026: St Mary’s University to retain £800 administration fee. All other fees returned to students by the University.
  • Cancellations after 5 June but before 18 June 2026 (including early departures from the Summer School): St Mary’s University to retain £4,000 of the fee. The remainder to be refunded to the student.
  • Cancellations and departures from the Summer School after 18 June 2025: no refund.
