St Mary's is a caring University community that has a complete network of services in place to ensure students are fully supported throughout their period of study. Students are given assistance to help them sort out any minor hassles - and the occasional major headaches that may crop up along the way.
Our purpose built Student Services Centre, located on the 2nd floor of J Block (above the Student Union) is run by a small dedicated team who provide a full range of non - academic and personal support for all students. As well as general advice for students our services include:
Accommodation - On-hand team to help arrange student accommodation in our halls of residence, but we can also offer advice to help students find off-campus accommodation.
Counselling Service - The Student Counselling Service is a confidential service for anyone experiencing emotional difficulties or distress. The service is available for all students and staff attending St Mary's University.
Disability and Dyslexia Service - Offers a private and confidential service. Our aim is to support you in your time here and assist you to be proactive in your studies as an independent learner.
Health Centre - offers a nurse-led health service. All students, either resident on campus or living within the locality of the practice, are encouraged to register as patients.
Student Funding - We know that managing your money and working out how you will finance your higher education will be an important consideration for you and at St Mary's we offer a framework of student support and advice to assist you throughout your student journey.
