St Mary's is a caring University community that has a complete network of services in place to ensure students are fully supported throughout their period of study. Students are given assistance to help them sort out any minor hassles - and the occasional major headaches that may crop up along the way.
Our purpose built Student Services Centre, located on the 2nd floor of J Block (above the Student Union) is run by a small dedicated team who provide a full range of non - academic and personal support for all students. As well as general advice for students our services include:
Our on-hand team to help arrange student accommodation in our halls of residence, but we also offer advice to help students find off-campus accommodation.
The Student Counselling Service is a confidential service for anyone experiencing emotional difficulties or distress. The service is available for all students attending St Mary's University.
The Disability and Dyslexia service offers a private and confidential service. Our aim is to support you in your time here and assist you to be proactive in your studies as an independent learner.
The Health Centre offers a nurse-led health service. All students, either resident on campus or living within the locality of the practice, are encouraged to register as patients.
We know that managing your money and working out how you will finance your higher education will be an important consideration for you and at St Mary's we offer a framework of student support and advice to assist you throughout your student journey.
