St Mary’s University Academic Development Framework (ADF) supports the initial and continuing professional development of staff in their teaching or learning support roles, with the aim of enhancing student success.
The ADF provides opportunities for colleagues to develop and enhance their teaching practice through participation in workshops, seminars, critical forums, lectures and conferences and demonstrate their continued good standing as Higher Education Professionals.
Details of these events are posted on the CTESS staff pages.
We also offer two routes for colleagues to become Fellows of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA):
- The Initial Professional Development Route (IPDR)
- The Continuing Professional Development Route (CPDR)
The ADF enables colleagues to pursue a systematic approach to their development which is aligned with the UK Professional Standards Framework for Teaching and Supporting Learning in Higher Education (UKPSF).
