Our role
St Mary's is firmly committed to providing you with a wide range of initiatives and resources to support you. The team have designed a varied and expanding programme that offers relevant and diverse opportunities for all staff - whatever their role.
We recognise that it can be difficult to locate and determine the right development, whether for yourself or those who you manage.
The role of Learning and People Development is to:
- provide advice, support and events to meet the development needs of all staff employed by St Mary's
- support people to achieve the University's strategic objectives
- help create Faculty and Service Development Plans, to inform and shape the staff development provision.
