Portable equipment is available for short term loans for use in classrooms, offices, for events, or remote working - this must be booked 48 hours in advance and must not be for a long term or permanent requirement.
All bookings must be collected and signed out from the Multimedia Services team in M103.
If you or a visiting speaker have an external device such as a laptop or tablet please ensure that you have an adapter to connect it to our screens/projectors via HDMI, as well as any leads. We are able to provide guidance and links to suppliers on Parabilis that stock relevant adapters and cables for your devices.
If you intend to join or run a Teams call from our spaces we recommend that you use the All-in-One teaching PC for this rather than your own device. This is because the provided camera and microphone are connected to this PC, and cannot be connected to your external device. If you have any questions on this point, please get in touch with us to discuss.
Anyone wishing to use a remote to click through their PowerPoint slides should purchase one as a personal device. We do not supply these items on a loan basis due to how easy they are to misplace. Links can be provided to suppliers on Parabilis that stock them.
