We provide content creation (filming, editing, graphic design etc.) for the University, and take on projects ranging from short presentations, to promotional content. Examples of our work can be found on the official St Mary's YouTube channel and have recently included a film for our International department.
The AV & Multimedia team consists of independent film makers, industry professionals, and Media Arts/Film and Screen Media students. We offer filming around our beautiful campus, or in one of the studio spaces, which feature green screens, lighting and sound recording facilities.
Our team edits all of the content in-house, in our office media suite, located in G6a and features iMacs with editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, iMovie, Photoshop). These iMacs are also available for use by staff and students, as we provide training/support on various media related software.
We also provide guidance and advice for those who are approaching a promotional video as a project for the first time and are happy to lend our expertise and experience in planning for these videos.
