The Bakhita Centre collaborates with the International Willow Network, an international community for scholars and artists to develop research around trauma, care, and peace-making.

The goals of the International Willow Network are to:

  • develop research in the field of trauma and care
  • envision and understand relationships of care through narrative and performing arts
  • organize effective means of distributing research outputs as resource for international underserviced communities.

The Institute aims to grow academic research, artistic innovation, and trauma-informed distribution of resources.
