The Intermediate French language and conversation course is designed for you if you already have a good knowledge of basic French.
Whilst enrolled upon the course you will develop your language skills through a range of engaging topics enabling you to express your opinions and converse with others in French. Intermediate 2 runs in semester 1 and is followed in semester 2 with Intermediate 1, allowing progression from the Beginners course.
Please note: this course is not suitable for international students requiring a short term student visitor visa.
Dates and Times
This course will run every Wednesday from 5.30pm - 7.00pm between the following dates:
Course 1 Intermediate 2:
Wednesday 25th September 2019 to 29th January 2020
Course 2 Intermediate 1:
Wednesday 5th February 2020 to Wednesday 24th June 2020
The full cost is £220. The deposit is £50.
Undergraduates, postgraduates and staff at St Mary’s receive a 10% discount.

The course is assessed via
Optional assessments take place every three weeks and you will receive a certificate listing topics studied and marks achieved in each of the assessments at the end of the course.
A good pre-existing knowledge of basic French.
All participants must be over 18 years of age to enrol.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of attendance, issued by St Mary’s University.
