Biography
Helen joined St. Mary’s in 2021 as senior lecturer for academic professional practice on the work-based routes and as programme leader for the primary PGCE.
Helen has extensive experience in primary education as a lecturer, adviser and headteacher. Helen’s teaching experience is in inner and outer London primary schools, most in areas of high deprivation.
Helen is currently working on completing her EdD, having previously gained an MA in Educational Leadership and Management.

Research profile
Helen’s particular interests are in underperforming groups including children with additional needs, with a focus on mathematics. She has presented at BRSLM.
