Biography
Julie qualified as a Physiotherapist in 2001. She worked in both the NHS and private practice as an MSK physiotherapist, with 16 years of experience working as a multisport physiotherapist in Elite Sport after she obtained her MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine.
Julie started in academia whilst working at the English Institute of Sport and joined St Marys University in 2017. She specialises in biomechanical evidence-based musculoskeletal treatment with an interest in Clinical Physiology for injury prevention and performance enhancement. She currently works part-time in an MSK clinic and teaches Clinical Physiology and MSK Management. She is currently the Course Lead for the MSc Physiotherapy Pre-Reg programme.
