Biography

Dr Bal's research interests consist of five closely interrelated and mutually guiding research programmes i.e. i) technology and new educational pedagogies, ii) inclusive quality education and joyful learning curriculum development, iii) budget and education policies in India, iv) public private partnership in education and v) ideology and education in India.

She has twenty years of research, consultancy and teaching experience in different areas of educational policy and curriculum development in India. She has published more than thirty peer reviewed articles in different international journals.
