Biography
Within the School of Medicine, I lead on recruiting and working with new local education providers, in particular new clinical providers such as NHS trusts and GP practices that will host and teach medical students.
Profile
- An experienced senior operational leader with 22 years’ experience within the postgraduate and undergraduate medical education and training setting.
- A proven ability to deliver positive results having worked extensively across these fields, managing large, varied and complex stakeholders, whilst providing exceptional leadership and guidance to teams managing the recruitment and assessment of junior doctors and developing, expanding and quality assuring primary care undergraduate community tutors within GP practices.
- A proven track record of gaining credibility and building effective relationships within complex settings in both primary and secondary care.
