Simon Waldman

Simon led BBC News teams in both radio and TV for more than twenty years. He edited all the main BBC One bulletins, helped launch Breakfast (Time and News) and Radio Five Live. He was responsible for breaking news coverage from many of the biggest stories of the past decades as well as the BBC News Channel's coverage of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

Since leaving his staff job at the BBC, he has been training new BBC journalists across the world, working for broadcasters in the UK, Europe and the Gulf, teaching journalism students from London Metropolitan and Oregon Universities and running his own media training and consultancy business.
