Research profile

Vanna joined the Bakhita Centre in January 2021 as the project coordinator for the Horizons Summer School (HSS), an educational programme developed by the Centre for survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking.

Prior to joining the Centre, Vanna worked in the voluntary sector in the criminal justice system and addiction fields. For the past 15 years she has held management and senior management roles and devised educational projects for minoritised groups including women from the Roma community.

She is a Clore Social Leadership programme alumni.
