St Mary’s University has consulted with us in our Leinster Rugby Coach Development department over the past 5 years at a number of levels.
Michael Ayres and Tom Hounsell have presented to and developed our Community Coaching officers and Player and Coach Development staff, as well as delivering key-note talks in all our five regions across the province of Leinster.
Our purpose here in Leinster is to effect and support sustainable rugby environments by encouraging, promoting, growing and organising the participation in and playing of rugby in the 12 counties of Leinster, and to be the Global Standard Bearer for Professional Cub Rugby
The ongoing collaborative relationship with St Mary’s and Leinster Rugby looks to continually push evolvement of player and coach development programmes, and the introduction of the MSc Rugby Performance course is another area in which Leinster Rugby is proud to be a part of.
