About your programme

Module information

Your degree programme is delivered in blocks called ‘semesters’.

Each semester you will study modules. Some modules are core and must be taken as part of your programme, others are optional and you will be able to choose which of these you study when you arrive.

In your first semester you will study the following modules:

  •  Core

Further information about the structure of your course can be found within the programme specification document.

Resources

Textbooks and other resources to support your studies will be available from the St Mary’s Library when you have registered. Whilst there are plenty of copies of key texts, some students choose to purchase their own copies of key texts.

We will provide further guidance and advice on books and other resources in the meetings during induction week, including access to our online learning environment, Moodle, where you can access a variety of learning resources including lecture recordings, copies of lecture slides, handouts, further reading and interactive resources.
