Chaired by the Dean of Learning and Teaching and reporting to the University Academic Strategy, Portfolio and Student Experience Committee (SPSE), the Learning, Teaching and Student Outcomes Committee oversees the development of the academic elements relating to learning, teaching, academic professional development, and student outcomes.
These include those in relation to participation in the University’s response to external regulatory requirements, as well as the monitoring and evaluation of metrics used to benchmark and continuously improve the academic and student experience.
Method of Operation
The Committee meets every six weeks across the academic year for two hours. The dates for 2023-24 are as follows:
- Monday 11th September 2023 (11am-1pm)
- Monday 30th October 2023
- Monday 4th December 2023
- Monday 15th January 2024
- Monday 26th February 2024
- Thursday 11th April 2024
- Monday 20th May 2024.
With the exception of the first meeting, all other meetings are from 2-4pm unless otherwise advised.
