Fitness classes at St Mary's offer so many ways to have fun while you get fit.
Looking to get into or get back into fitness? Group fitness classes offer a fantastic way to exercise within a supportive and friendly environment. Whether you are looking for a high-impact workout or something a bit more laid-back, there is a class on our timetable for you.
Sport St Mary’s offers a range of fitness classes at lunchtimes, evenings and weekends, from Yoga to Pump, and are open to everyone. The regular fee is £5 and £3 for students of St Mary's University.
Classes enable you to add variety to your workout and most are suitable for all levels of fitness. The classes help to keep motivation up through the group camaraderie – so come to our classes and achieve your fitness goals!

Before attending your first class you will need to register with us by filling out the Health Commitment Statements and Sports Village Registration forms and email them to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please be aware that these classes cannot be booked in advance, we operate on a first come first serve basis so make sure to arrive in plenty of time.
A combination of stand-up combat sports based on kicking and punching, developed from Karate and Muay Thai. A fantastic cardiovascular workout.
Legs, Bums and Tums
Incorporating a mixture of abdominal workouts, lunges, stretches and exercises for the legs, thighs, buttocks and stomach. Suitable for all.
Tuesday 1-2pm, 7-8pm
A system of physical conditioning involving lowimpact exercises and stretches. Suitable for all levels.
A system of exercises for attaining bodily or mental control and wellbeing, yoga will help to improve flexibility, balance and co-ordination. Suitable for all levels.
Dance and aerobic exercise routines performed to popular, mainly Latin-American music. Suitable for all levels.
