Library and Digital updates

Welcome back. The new academic year is here and we've created a list of essential updates. Here are the key things you need to know:

  1. There’s new way to log in to Moodle. Just as you log in to Outlook 365 you’ll need your phone with you for MFA (multi-factor authentication). Use the following format of username to log in: REGNUM@live.stmarys.ac.uk e.g. 200204@live.stmarys.ac.uk)

  2. Free Wifi: You should now use the eduroam network for Wifi access. This will provide you with free Wifi on campus and in many other public places. Check out the video below to get connected or the guidance on our TOP 5 FAQs page.

  3. Moodle Menu Move: Now on the left-hand side of the screen, this means that when clicking across Moodle sections, content change is more obvious and there's a lot less scrolling.

  4. Book moves: All Education resources can now be found in the library on the main campus, the Law collection has moved to a more easily accessible area on the ground floor.

  5. 1-2-1 Rooms: There are four new 1-2-1 rooms in the library, as well as three group study rooms that can be booked by students

  6. Improved accessibility for documents in Moodle: You can now download documents in the format of your choice.
