This event is designed for prospective students who want to learn more about education and aspire to work with children and young people in a range of settings, including as a Primary School Teacher. Attendees will experience a primary education taster session, which will explore the primary curriculum as well as an education studies taster session, where the value and purpose of education will be unpacked. Finally, attendees will receive a degree preparation session, which will focus on the university application process including interview preparation!

This paper will present the foundation legends of four Marian shrines in the region of the Bristol Channel and adjacent areas, together with an account of topographical features of their respective locations.

CREMCYA Webinar: Understanding Discrepancies in Trend Results of PISA, TIMSS, and O-NET and Implications for Education Policies in Thailand

The seminar will discuss the presenter, Dr Sirin Tangpornpaiboon’s PhD research, which investigates the research problem of why learning outcomes are low in Thailand, and what could be done to improve them. The research aims to disentangle sources of discrepancies found in trends over time of assessment results from different national and international assessments in Thailand.
