St. Mary's University, in collaboration with Cafod and the Catholic Bishops' Conference of England and Wales, have organised an event "Pioneering Parishes: How Local Church Communities can become Guardians of Creation" which builds on St. Mary’s University’s “Guardians of Creation” project designed to provide practical guidance to parishes.

The Religious in Europe Networking Against Trafficking and Exploitation (RENATE), are delighted to invite you to attend the launch of this new research report after 18 months of dedicated and painstaking work by the RENATE Law Task Group. RENATE commissioned The Bakhita Centre for Research on Slavery, Exploitation and Abuse, at St Mary’s University, Twickenham, to conduct research on the gaps in the training and resources required by legal practitioners of 5 European countries who work for and with victims of human trafficking.

"Christian Know Your Dignity" (Pope St Leo the Great). The Royal Priesthood is a rich scriptural theme which draws together God's work of creating and saving humanity in Christ. It implies our divine filiation, the life of grace, the metaphysics of participation, the indwelling Trinity, the Church and the Sacraments, the theology of nature and grace, and many other central Catholic doctrines. It has great potential to aid the renewal already well underway in contemporary Catholic theology, and, more concretely, to direct this renewal towards an awakening and revival of the Church in our times.
