The Association of Teachers of Catholic R.E. was an initiative begun at St Mary’s by Matthew Dell. Following its inaugural conference there in 2019, it has gone on to become the largest group of its kind in the UK with an executive board drawn from RE practitioners at all levels.
Koinonia is a network of individual Catholic schools and Multi Academy Trusts, predominantly in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portsmouth, but also including the Archdiocese of Birmingham and, with the recent acquisition of our first International School Affiliate, from the Diocese of Košice, Slovakia. Together, we are working in partnership, and with St Mary’s University, to make our schools even better and to contribute to the common good. Koinonia -a word reflecting fellowship – describes not who we are, but, rather, how we work and what we try to do, together.

Consortium of Catholic Universities
Based at Notre Dame Indiana, the Consortium is a group of some 18 or so Universities committed to the prosperity of Catholic Higher Education through international collaboration. The first topic under review by the group is the Environment which will provide the subject for a Conference to be held in June, 2022. Longstanding friends, this partnership cements a key relationship between St. Mary’s and a series of partners, including Notre Dame which, as leading international university which has a base here in London.
