Room Booking Information for Staff

Staff can now book rooms for ad-hoc sessions using our online booking system, CELCAT Room Booker. Specialist rooms can still only be booked by contacting the relevant contact provided below.

If you require a room on the same day at short notice please book this on CELCAT Room Booker and, subject to availability being shown, feel free to go ahead and use the room prior to approval. Do not use this method by default as the rooms available to you are likely to be limited. It’s better to plan ahead.

Please ensure that any room used is returned to its original layout after the session and all rubbish is put in the bins provided. Please inform security of any damage to the room on the email below

Teaching takes priority, therefore all ad-hoc bookings are subject to change.

CELCAT Room Booker

This service allows staff to check availability and request meeting rooms, standard classrooms and lecture theatres for meetings and other ad-hoc events.

CELCAT Room Booker should only be used to request rooms for ad-hoc, non-academic teaching session.

  • CELCAT Room Booker user guide with guidance on how to use the online system. Please make sure to read the guide before submitting your first booking requests.
