What we do
The Academic Development team provide a varied range of support to colleagues to help develop their academic practices, and recognise and reward outstanding teaching and commitment to higher education. Our work focuses on developing an inclusive learning community and supporting all students reach their potential through developing staff expertise in learning and teaching.
We offer staff opportunities to develop their teaching practices through a range of events, courses, workshops, networks, and one-to-one consultation. We also contribute to policy development, create, and curate resources, and help colleagues make links across the university in relation to academic practice.
