Service Level Agreement - Campus Housekeeping

Cleaning (applies to all areas/buildings in main campus and external buildings unless specified):

General offices

Cleaned Weekly:

  • Floor area free from excessive dust, dirt, fluff and refuse

Cleaned Weekly:

  • Floor area free from excessive dust, dirt, fluff and refuse
  • Polishes or dressings necessary for the preservation/maintenance of the surface shall be applied at appropriate intervals
  • There shall be no accumulations of polishes or dressings which become detrimental to the surface.
  • Floors shall be in a safe condition and not left slippery or otherwise hazardous.

(this includes all workstations, catering and break-out areas). Tables, chairs, ledges, shelves, skirtings, pictures, frames, pipes

Cleaned Fortnightly:

  • Free from excessive dust, dirt, finger marks and smears. Metalwork bright and streak free.
  • No marks from other cleaning operations.
  • Hard surfaces that require either polishing or an application of dressing to enhance their appearance shall be attended to at intervals appropriate to usage.
  • Soft, upholstered surfaces that require a full clean shall be cleaned at intervals appropriate to usage.

Cleaned Daily:

  • Waste removed to collection points, liners replaced where necessary.
  • Surfaces of bins left clean and streak free.

Applies only where individual bins are provided (individual bins in several areas will be phased out from September 2025 and replaced with local recycling points)

Cleaned Fortnightly:

  • Free from dust, dirt, finger marks and have a uniform appearance.

Cleaned Fortnightly:

  • Free from dirt, dust, smears, stains and other marks.
  • All gum labels removed.

Cleaned twice weekly:

  • Glazing, ledges, sills and frames to be clear of excessive dirt, stains, smears and marks.

Cleaned Daily:

  • Frames free from excessive dust, dirt and marks
  • Cleaners shall not remove annotations on boards

Cleaned Fortnightly:

  • Free from visible signs of dust, marks or debris such as cobwebs.
  • Free from accumulated removable dirt, dust, smudges, stains and other debris.

Cleaned Weekly:

  • Free from dirt, dust, smears, stains and other marks

Meeting spaces

Cleaned Daily:

  • Floor area free from excessive dust, dirt, fluff and refuse
  • The pile shall have an even appearance.

Cleaned Daily:

  • Floor area free from dust, fluff and refuse.
  • Polishes or dressings necessary for the preservation/maintenance of the surface shall be applied at appropriate intervals.
  • There shall be no accumulations of polishes or dressings which become detrimental to the surface.
