Standard Room Layouts

Most teaching rooms on-campus have standard layouts which should be restored after each session. However, there are alternative layouts that are available through the campus services team;

Room Layout Styles for Events

Please contact campusservices@stmarys.ac.uk to request event layouts for specific rooms.

How much notice is required for room layout changes?

Please provide at least 24-hour notice for room layout changes.

Do you arrange general classroom setup?

No. Campus Services is only responsible for the setting up and layout of the rooms booked for meetings and events. Classroom setup (e.g. arrangement of furniture) is the responsibility of the individual lecturer and students. Classrooms should always be returned to standard layout after use.

Can you makeup furniture purchased by my department?

No. Unfortunately the Campus Services department cannot provide a service for making up flat-packed furniture. Departments purchasing furniture must ensure that the furniture is delivered fully assembled or that arrangements are made within the department assembling flat-packed furniture.

Who do I contact with regard to disconnection and disposal of IT equipment?

Please contact the IT Helpdesk to request disposal of redundant IT equipment. Please do not dispose of this equipment in the general waste stream.
