Service Level Agreement - Student Accommodation Housekeeping

Cleaning Specification (applies to all areas/buildings in main campus and external buildings unless specified):

Kitchen Area

Cleaned Daily:

  • Clean and disinfect counter tops
  • Clean, disinfect and polish chrome of sink area
  • Wipe down kitchen cabinet facings
  • Clean top and front of stove
  • Clean top and front of refrigerator(s)
  • Clean microwave (inside and outside)
  • Clean outside of small appliances (toaster, etc.)
  • Remove smudges from doors and light switches
  • Wipe baseboards
  • Dust cobwebs
  • Empty rubbish, clean and wipe bin
  • Vacuum and mop floors

Communal Areas

Cleaned daily:

  • Dust cobwebs
  • Dust blinds
  • Dust all furnishings as appropriate
  • Dust window sills
  • Wipe baseboards
  • Remove smudges from doors and light switches
  • Empty rubbish, clean and wipe bin
  • Vaccum all carpets and hard floors, including stairs
  • Mop floors

Bathroom

Cleaned fortnightly:

  • Dust cobwebs
  • Clean and disinfect shower cubicles, ensuring it is free from marks and hair
  • Clean and disinfect shower doors
  • Clean and disinfect toilet
  • Clean and disinfect counter tops
  • Clean and disinfect vanity area and polish chrome fittings
  • Remove smudges from doors and light switches
  • Clean mirrors
  • Wipe down cabinet facings
  • Vacuum and mop floors
  • Empty rubbish
