Academics from St Mary’s University, Twickenham, will present a range of research at the World Conference on Soccer and Science, taking place in Glasgow from 17–20 June 2025.
The conference, a platform for drivers of research, innovation, and sustainable development in football, will feature a keynote presentation, workshops, oral presentations, and poster sessions by faculty members from the University’s Faculty of Sport, Technology and Health Sciences (FSTHS), highlighting St Mary’s leadership in football-related research.
Dr Kat Okholm Kryger will deliver two keynote presentations titled “Menstrual cycle tracking: Don’t just go with the flow”, which addresses the highly discussed matter of menstrual cycle tracking – when to track, what to track, how to track, why to track (and why not to track); and “Women’s football research: More than just ACL and menstrual cycles”, offering insight into the skewed research attention bias in women’s football.
