Reporting options for students

If you have experienced, seen, or been told about an incidence of bullying, harassment, sexual misconduct, a hate crime, or anything similar, we recognise that this may be difficult for you and we would encourage you to report it.

There are three ways to report an incident:

  • Report anonymously: By reporting anonymously, you should note that the university is not able to act on any information provided or respond to you directly. However, the information provided could help others by improving our understanding of incidents that students are experiencing.
  • Report with contact details: By reporting with contact details, you are able to select your desired action, either to make a formal report to be investigated under our internal disciplinary policies or to be contacted to receive further information about your reporting options and support that is available to you.
  • Speak to someone directly: If you would like to speak to someone for further guidance, but do not currently want to initiate an investigation or any formal action, you can make an informal disclosure by speaking with a member of staff.
