Support for students

If you require emergency help, please call emergency services on 999 (or 112 from a mobile). If you're deaf or hard of hearing, you can text 999 if you're pre-registered with the emergency SMS service. If you need to register for this service, you can find information on how to register. If an incident has just happened, try to find somewhere you feel safe.

If you are at the university and in need of help, you can call Security on 020 8240 4335/4060 or go to your nearest University building and ask someone to phone security for you.

You do not need to make a report to the University in order to access support, support is available both internally from the University as well as from many specialist external support services.

If you would like to speak with an adviser about accessing support or to find out more about the support options that are available to you (both internally and externally) you can submit a report with contact details form. As part of this process, you are able to select your desired action, either to make a formal report to be investigated under our internal disciplinary policies or to be contacted to receive further information about your reporting options and support that is available to you.

Alternatively, you can visit the Student Services Centre (J Building, 2nd floor) weekdays, 9am-5pm and speak to any member of staff available.
