Internal Support

It can be difficult to seek support but it is important for you to know that you do not have to cope alone. As well as external support, there are a number of avenues of internal support that you can access through the university.

If you require emergency help, please call emergency services on 999 (or 112 from a mobile). If you're deaf or hard of hearing, you can text 999 if you're pre-registered with the emergency SMS service. If you need to register for this service, you can find information on how to do so here.

If you would like to speak with an adviser about accessing support or to find out more about the support options that are available to you, you can submit a report with contact details form and someone from the Student Life team will contact you to arrange an appointment.

This group, which is made up of students and staff working together, plays a key role in ensuring that the student’s voice is heard in relation to many important issues. EDI at St Mary’s aims to ensure that every member of our diverse community of students is able to participate fully in all aspects of University life.  With a key focus on understanding students experiences of hate incidents and gender-based violence and to making positive steps to ensure that this is not a barrier to students' full participation or success at St Mary’s.
