The take-up of Free School Meals in Catholic schools in England and Wales

The report marks a significant intervention into debates around faith schools and ethnic and socio-economic inclusion. In particular, it challenges widespread use of Free School Meals “eligibility” (a misnomer, as we demonstrate) data as a reliable indicator of schools’ social selectiveness.
