Meal plan

The meal plan includes 14 meals per week, which are taken as seven evening meals, along with breakfast on weekdays and brunch at the weekend.

For each meal you'll be able to spend a certain amount of meal points, which can be claimed using your student ID card:

  • Breakfast: 3 points
  • Brunch: 7 points
  • Dinner: 7 points

Meals are taken in the Refectory during the allocated timeslots. For further information please check our Student meal plan webpage.

The Refectory ensure to cater for varied dietary requirements. If you have any specific dietary requirements please ensure to notify us when you apply for accommodation.

Please note: Meals are not provided during the Christmas and Easter periods as per the terms of the Licence. The University reserves the right to substitute the evening meal for a meal to be taken at lunchtime at certain times (such as bank holidays, Christmas and Summer Ball etc).

Students must vacate their rooms at the end of the academic year on or before 12pm on Sunday 26th May 2024.

St Mary’s University closes during the Christmas period and residents:

  • Must vacate hall accommodation on or before 12pm on Sunday 17th December 2023
  • Will not be allowed access to their room before 12pm on Monday 1st January 2024

Residents will not be charged for the Christmas closure period.

Please note: residents of Waldegrave Studios are entitled to remain in their accommodation over the Christmas Closure period.
