Six things you can do at St Mary's between lectures

1) Relax in the café

St Mary's has a refectory offering hot and cold food throughout the day, as well as a cafe in the heart of our campus that overlooks our track. The Dolce Vita, in addition to your a latte or frappuccino, has a range of sandwiches, salads and also a hot snack menu offering nachos, toasted sandwiches and paninis.

Situated between the Library and the Students' Union Building, the Café is a great place to meet up during the day and offers fantastic views across the Sir Mo Farah Athletics Track.

2) Join our world-class sporting facilities

Flexible gym membershipspersonal training sessions and fitness classes are available for all students at St Mary's.

We also have a full-size atheletics track, named after our iconic alumnus, Sir Mo Farah.

3) Relax in the commuter lounge

The commuter lounge is a great place to unwind on the sofa with a cup of tea or coffee. If you've brought lunch with you then you'll be able to heat it up in the microwave or you can store your stuff in a locker before heading to your next lecture.

4) Explore the beautiful local area

Situated between Teddington and Twickenham, with Richmond near by, St Mary's lies in one of the most green areas of London. There are plenty of parks, shops and cafes to help you kill an hour or two.

5) See what's on at the Exchange

Just down the road, opposite Twickenham station, is the Exchange. This is our partner building that offers a huge range of interesting events, open to students, staff and the public.

6) Get to work in one of our many study spaces

We have multiple areas where you can get on with your course work inbetween classes. Including 24-hour computer rooms and printing/scanning/copying facilities.

Also available to you are loanable laptops, group study rooms and charging lockers for mobile devices. Therefore, if you don't fancy doing the commute while carrying in your own laptop, you can always borrow one of ours!
