Age is a protected characteristic under the UK Government’s Equality Act 2010. The Act defines age by reference to a person’s age group and when it refers to people who share the protected characteristic of age, it means they are in the same age group.
The Microlearning’s below are focused on how we can become more inclusive at St Mary’s by learning about other groups that we may not identify with. Learning about other’s lived experiences, and building an awareness can lead to better respect of our colleagues, students, and ourselves.
