Microlearning archives: pregnancy and maternity

Pregnancy and maternity is a protected characteristic under the UK Government’s Equality Act 2010. This Act safeguards women from discrimination or unfair treatment during the time of their pregnancy, maternity leave (in an employment context), or for 26 weeks after the baby's birth (in a non-employment context).

The Microlearning’s below are focused on how we can become more inclusive at St Mary’s by learning about other groups that we may not identify with. Learning about others' lived experiences and building an awareness can lead to better respect of our colleagues, students, and ourselves.

This page is an evolving document so please do look out for updates of new Microlearnings.
