Samuel responsible for providing information and technology services to staff and students of the university. This includes running the Library service, IT services, corporate applications, systems and data provision, technology enhanced learning and project delivery. Samuel is currently leading of a number of major projects including a new student records system, a redesign and rebuild of St Mary’s intranet and ‘Go Digital’, a multi-year, major project to transform St Mary’s entire technology estate into a modern, user friendly and feature rich experience for staff and students alike.
Samuel brings over 25 year’s IT experience to St Mary’s from various roles in HE (UCL and Royal Holloway, University of London) and the private sector. He has a background in all areas and all levels of IT provision including front line helpdesk, system administration, IT training and software application management. Samuel has extensive experience in digital learning, dating back to 2003 where he and a colleague developed UCLs first e-learning support service.
